Phil Francis - Senior Technical Consultant |
Phil is a Senior Technical Consultant based out of our Manchester office. He joined Informed Solutions in 2005 having previously enjoyed a five-year career in the hydrographic survey industry, before returning to dry-land to gain an MSc in Geographic Information Systems at Edinburgh University.
Since joining Informed Solutions, Phil has undertaken a wide variety of management and technical consulting work – major enterprise systems implementations, alongside strategy assignments. These projects have spanned Central Government, Energy and Renewable Resources, and the Land and Property sectors. Most recently, Phil has been working within a SWAT team of consultants assisting a major UK property developer define more efficient and effective business processes, and underpin these by means of an IT solution for the submission and tracking of applications through the planning system.
Phil is also a member of the Delivery Management Team, which is responsible for managing and monitoring all facets of Informed’s client-facing, as well as corporate, service management and delivery functions. Two of his most noteworthy achievements, as part of the Delivery Management Team, have been successfully leading the Company through the BSI ISO 9001:2000 and e-GIF accreditation processes.
Phil looks back over his years at Informed Solutions:
