| Technical Due Diligence and Audit - Central Government |
Informed Solutions was appointed to assess the suitability and operational readiness of a newly delivered, although as yet non-operational, application system developed for this Central Government client. The system was designed to provide management reporting, data capture, and asset management facilities over a number of administrative centres across the UK. The client considered that the solution was not fit for purpose and was not performing to specification.
This study commenced with an impartial evaluation of the existing system and technology platform. The client was offered a number of options including pragmatic ones that retained as much of the original investment as possible, but also included a comparison of alternative technologies and application systems that might better meet their original business requirements.
Informed Solutions then worked closely with the client throughout their decision-making process, providing unbiased advice and undertaking more detailed assessments of the client's preferred technology platform, systems architecture and application designs. Our team then performed additional technical due diligence to ensure that the revised platform was able to provide acceptable performance and scaleable access across the internet, as required by the various regional offices.
