Informed Solutions has been selected for a place on the Big Data and Analytics Framework run by Crown Commercial Service.

This framework sees Crown Commercial Service (CCS) implement a Pan Government Collaborative Agreement for the provision of Big Data & Analytics to be utilised by Central Government Departments and all other UK Public Sector Bodies, including Local Authorities, Health, Police, Fire and Rescue, Education and Devolved Administrations.

With a £2bn contract value over four years, the new framework is split into two lots with Informed Solutions appointed as one of 25 suppliers.

The first lot focusses on the provision of ‘design, build and run’ big data and analytics services, covering the creation, deployment and support of solutions across advanced analytics and cognitive, data management and acquisition and data risking, alongside platform services, reporting and dashboards and search and discovery services.

The second lot relates to the provision of Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) Software, specifically for big data and analytics capabilities, available as either on-prem, cloud, or hybrid.

Informed Solutions has been awarded a place on Lot 1 of this framework due to its trusted, proven, long-standing, and 2022 Queen’s Award-winning expertise in driving positive and impactful digital change for public and private sector organisations.

Big Data and Analytics is an emerging and evolving capability and is fast becoming recognised as business critical and a core business function within Government departments. The National Data Strategy and implementation of its missions reinforce the requirement to access and interrogate Government data more effectively to improve public services.

UK CEO Seth Finegan comments: “We are delighted to have been appointed to this important framework, which will shape the future of how Government data is managed.  It is a hugely exciting time for public sector digital transformation and this framework is a fantastic platform to showcase our expertise in accelerating and de-risking digital business change.

“We look forward to continuing to help government and public sector organisations that are increasingly adopting and embracing innovation cultures to develop the world class digital services that help make our world a safer, greener, healthier, more inclusive, and smarter place”.
