History

Since 1992, Informed Solutions has worked hard to make a positive difference to our clients, our people, to society, and to the communities that we are part of.

With a history of innovation that delivers high performing digital and data solutions to some of the largest and most complex business challenges, in 2002 we were the first company in the world to put maps and location-enabled services on mobile phones. In 2018, we developed SEED, Australia’s first whole-of-Government Environmental Data Portal, which laid the foundation for greater transparency and improved decision-making on environmental matters across New South Wales.

Throughout our history the services we have designed have helped make our world a safer, cleaner, healthier, and smarter place to live and work. Whether its keeping citizens safe by supporting Police and Fire and Rescue Services across the UK, enhancing patient safety across the NHS, or managing Clean Air Zones for England and Wales.

We haven’t stopped innovating and problem solving alongside our clients and partners. Most recently, in 2022 we developed and launched the World’s first AI powered digital planning and land management platform, which now manages the sustainable development and protection of all land in Scotland.

We been recognised through the years for international innovation in digital service design, most recently with two Queen’s Awards for Innovation in 2018 and 2022, World Innovation, Technology and Services Alliances (WITSA) Awards in 2018 and 2022, and several prestigious UK and Australian technology sector awards.
